Privacy Policy for 5 Second Challenge

Thank you for using 5 Second Challenge ("Application", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Application, how it is used, and how you can contact us.

5 Second Challenge is a party game where players name answers under a timer. The Application may include family-friendly categories, custom card packs, and AI-assisted features.

1. Information We Process

We may process the following information to operate the Application:

• Anonymous user identifier generated by Firebase Authentication
• Subscription status and purchase entitlement information
• Technical information needed to keep the Application secure and functional, such as request logs, error information, device type, app version, and approximate region inferred from network requests
• AI Judge usage metadata, such as request time, selected locale, audio duration, and processing status

App settings, game setup, gameplay state, and manually created custom packs are stored locally on your device.

Server-side processing is used for online features such as subscriptions and AI Judge.

2. Audio, Microphone, and AI Judge

AI Judge is an optional feature that helps check spoken answers during a round.

The microphone is used only when you choose to use an AI Judge mode and start a round that requires voice processing.

When AI Judge is used:

• The Application records a short, temporary audio clip during the round.
• The audio is sent securely to our Firebase backend for processing.
